History

March 1954: Founded as Gyoda Driving School in Nagano, Gyoda
February 1962: Moved to the current location of Sunayama, Hanyu City as Saitama Tobu Driving School, and was designated as a designated driving school for regular car licenses (Saitama Prefecture Public Safety Commission Designation No. 8)
April 1975: Established a company as Saitama Tobu Driving School.
May 1980: Build a new school building
January 1985: Company name changed to Hanyu Motor School
November 1999: Accepted work experience learning at Gyoda City Nagano Junior High School (from then on until 2019, accepted work experience learning and internships at junior high schools and high schools in Hanyu, Gyoda, Kazo, and Konosu cities for 21 consecutive years)
May 2006: The school has been designated as a designated driving school for large vehicle class 2 licenses and is capable of providing all kinds of training.
May 2006: Start airing radio commercials on FM NACK5 at driving schools nationwide.
March 2007: Becomes the third educational training facility in the country to be designated as a paid training course by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare.

April 2012: Bicycle safety driving classes using a bicycle simulator will begin at junior high schools in Hanyu and Gyoda cities (later expanded to include junior high schools in Kazo and Konosu cities and held for eight consecutive years until 2019)
November 2014: Starting at a driving school in Saitama Prefecture, all employees took the Japan Praise Master Association's "Praise Master Certification Level 3" and all passed.
December 2014: We are the first driving school in Saitama Prefecture to introduce a real-time smile level sensor called "Smile Scan", allowing all employees to start their work day with their best smiles.
July 2015: Held the first research presentation by training instructors to evolve training services (held for 6 consecutive years until 2020)
October 2016: For the first time in Saitama Prefecture, we will introduce DrivIT, a next-generation training system that utilizes iPad to realize Drive + IT (information technology).
September 2017: For the first time in the country, we will develop and launch a new driver education/driving diagnosis system and brush-up course that incorporates driving visualization using IT technology and coaching techniques.
November 2017: For the first time in eastern Japan, we will introduce "DON!DON! Drive", an experiential variety teaching material that teaches traffic rules and safe driving methods in a fun and easy-to-understand manner.
December 2017: Gyoda Forklift Center (Saitama Labor Bureau Registered Training Institution No. 324), which is the first driving school in Saitama Prefecture to conduct all courses in an all-weather indoor training facility, will be opened and forklift driving skills training will begin.
November 2018: Gyoda Drone School (JUIDA certified school number JS15601) was opened as the third all-weather indoor training facility in Saitama Prefecture to receive certification from JUIDA (Japan UAS Industry Promotion Association), an organization managed by the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
May 2019: Certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism We are the third driving school in Saitama Prefecture to receive certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for the passenger (basic course, general course) and cargo (basic course, general course) for operation management, and begin training to ensure the prevention of automobile accidents, including operational management practices, related laws and regulations, and management methods necessary to ensure safety.

February 2022: For the first time in Saitama Prefecture, we will start online academic training using "Don!Dora!ONLINE".
