Life with a driver's license starts with this one card

Getting a driver's license is not at all difficult. Everyone is trying, and many are getting it.
However, the most important thing here is not to drive a car or memorize traffic rules.
"Driving a car means becoming a member of the transportation society." It means acquiring safety knowledge that can save people's lives.

Admission requirements

There are various conditions for obtaining a license, such as age and qualifications.

Other conditions If you are not 18 years old at the time of the completion test, you will not be able to take the test. If you have not held a regular or large special license for a total of two years or more at the time of the completion test, you will not be able to take the test. If you have not held a regular or large special license for a total of 3 years or more at the time of the completion test, you will not be able to take the test. If you are not 18 years old at the time of the graduation test, you cannot take the test. You will not be able to enter the school unless you have a large, medium, regular car, or large special car license at the time of enrollment. If you are not at least 18 years old (16 years old for regular motorcycles) at the time of the graduation test, you will not be able to take the test.

  • *Visibility requires glasses and contact lenses.
  • *Also, for ordinary, large special, and ordinary motorcycle licenses, even if your visual acuity in one eye is less than 0.3, you can enter the school if you have a visual acuity of 0.7 or more in the visible eye and a field of view of 150° or more left and right.

If you fall under any of the following items, please consult the driver's license examination center in your prefecture where you will receive your license before enrolling.

*Please note that if you enroll without consulting, you may not be able to obtain a driver's license.

  • Have lost consciousness due to illness or for no known reason.
  • I get enough sleep, but I fall asleep during daytime activities at least three times a week.
  • You may have experienced convulsions or paralysis in all or part of your body due to an illness.
  • Your doctor has advised you to refrain from obtaining a license or driving due to illness.

Admission procedure

School admission hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 every day (excluding school holidays). Please bring the following items with you during the enrollment procedure.

Busy times lesson schedule

If you enter the school during the busy period, you will be able to attend the course smoothly!!

This is the annual congestion situation that can be expected based on the trends of previous years. The school is especially busy from February to March and from early August to early September every year, so please keep this in mind when enrolling. Please contact us by phone for details.
For those who really need to get their license as soon as possible, even during the busy season, Hanyu Motor School accepts short-term intensive My Plans throughout the year, including February and March!
